With the AMS1460ORS, Yamaha offers a fun and quirky Orange Sparkle snare drum with chrome hardware and aluminium hoops. This snare drum is 6 inches deep - which is a bit deeper than average to offer a fuller sound - along with a drum head diameter of 14 inches. The combination of maple and wenge hardwood also adds to the fullness of the sound, along with a broad dynamic range full of warmth and sparkle.

The snare wires have 25 strands for a good, clear snare sound. It's also easy to switch the snare out, thanks to the Q type strainer. Furthermore, the lugs feature a chrome finish and the hoops are die-cast aluminium. Not only does this give the snare drum a great look, but it also makes it simple to incorporate rim shots into your playing. This snare drum has a full, warm sound that matches perfectly with the Absolute Hybrid Maple drum kit by Yamaha.
